PSYCH 578 - Junior Seminar: Well-Being Credits: 4 An exploration of the traits, states, and actions that promote happiness and resilience in individuals and communities. We take a discussion-oriented approach, with emphasis on close reading of primary sources and evaluation of recommendations for well-being in popular culture. Students do some data collection and analysis, culminating in a detailed research proposal.
Prerequisite: PSYCH 206 ; PSYCH 207 ; one of PSYCH 170 , PSYCH 172 , PSYCH 176 or PSYCH 178 ; and permission of instructor.
