RELST 341 - Jewish Ethics Credits: 4 A study of the Jewish ethical tradition from ancient times to the present with a focus on how this tradition is applied to the key ethical issues of our time. We will examine the diverse perspectives within Judaism on a variety of topics including race, sexuality, gender, economic justice, bioethics, medical ethics, environmental ethics, animal welfare, criminal justice, and immigration.
Prerequisite: RELST 147 is recommended.
