Professor Reeck (Program Coordinator)
An interdivisional minor in the humanities and social sciences exploring the political, social, intellectual, and artistic manifestations of French civilization and culture, with extension to the broader context of France in Europe and France in the postcolonial context. Courses can be drawn from the Art, History, World Languages and Cultures, and Political Science departments. Two courses must be taken at or above the 300-level, and students must have at least a 2.0 GPA in the minor. The minor requires 24 semester credit hours, and at least 8 credits but not more than 12 credits of French coursework should be included in the 24-credit minimum. Those 8 credits in French must include FRNCH 301 .
