ENVSC 400 - Hydrogeology Credits: 4 An investigation of groundwater within its geological framework, and covering the hydrologic cycle, the occurrence and movement of groundwater, water quality, and the environmental implications of water use and misuse. Groundwater and water quality are emphasized. Combining both theoretical and applied approaches to the study of groundwater. Topics include: well construction and installation, characterization of subsurface hydraulic properties, groundwater flow, and contaminant transport processes.
Prerequisite: ENVSC 110 , must be completed prior to taking the course.
