PSYCH 307 - Applied Regression & ANOVA Credits: 4 This course builds on foundational statistics by introducing intermediate-level data analytic techniques commonly used in research. Topics may include data screening, advanced regression (e.g., polynomial and logistic models), complex ANOVA designs, and mediation and moderation analyses. Students enhance their ability to interpret and critique empirical research, conduct analyses using statistical software, and clearly communicate statistical findings. Emphasis is placed on real-world application through portfolio development, a final data analysis project, and opportunities to practice consulting skills. Open to students from any discipline with prior statistics experience, this course is recommended for those pursuing graduate study or careers involving data analysis or research
Prerequisite: One of the following courses: PSYCH 207 , ECON 202 , CMPSC 301 , BIO 385 , OR MATH 345 .
