ECON 425 - Equity Valuation
Credits: 4
A study of equity research, analysis, and valuation techniques employed by professionals. Students will learn how economic events might affect the market price of a stock, and employ several valuation methods to be able to deliver an investment recommendation. To this goal, students follow a firm, doing a complete analysis from it and at the end of the semester, they will present a recommendation, not only in class but also in front of a committee formed with professionals with years of experience. Must be taken on a letter-grade basis.
Prerequisite: ECON 227
