PSYCH 207 - Statistical Methods in Psychology Credits: 4 The second course in a two-semester sequence, focusing on statistical methods. Topics include probability and the logic of hypothesis testing, confidence intervals and effect sizes, parametric statistical tests (e.g., t-tests, ANOVA, and regression), nonparametric statistical tests, use of statistical data packages, and writing the results of a scientific report.
Prerequisite: PSYCH 206 with a grade of C- or better.
Distribution Requirements: QR, SP.
Students are strongly encouraged to take PSYCH 207 in the semester following PSYCH 206 .
