ENGL 425 - Topics in Renaissance Literature Credits: 4 A study of literature in the context of a rapidly changing Renaissance society. Focus may be on an author (Spenser, Jonson, Milton), a school (Metaphysical poets, Jacobean dramatists), a genre (epic, love lyric, prose), or some larger topic such as literature as an instrument of political power.
Prerequisite: ENGL 110 and one of ENGL 201 -ENGL 204 .
Distribution Requirements: HE.
ENGL 200 may be used in place of ENGL 110 in satisfying the prerequisite for the above course.
