BIO 310 - Microbiology Credits: 4 A study of the structure, physiology, genetics, and evolution of prokaryotes, viruses, and lower eukaryotes. Emphasis is placed on microbial diversity, interactions among microbes, and interactions of microbes with their environment, including human hosts. Lectures include discussions of papers from the primary literature. One laboratory per week.
Prerequisite: BIO 220 , BIO 221 , and FSBIO 201 or FSCHE 201 .
