ECON 470 - The Mathematical Approach to Economics Credits: 4 Mathematical development of the basics of modern economic theory. Applications and examples are drawn from the major fields of Economics, such as international, monetary and fiscal theory. Mathematical techniques such as calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra are utilized.
Prerequisite: ECON 200 and ECON 201 , or permission of instructor.
