Article VIII: Interpretation and Revision

Section 1: Interpretation

Any questions about the administration or interpretation of this system shall be referred to the Dean of Students for final determination, except that questions about the administration or interpretation of this system as it pertains to alleged violations of the Harassment, Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct Policy and Procedures should be referred to the Title IX Coordinator.

Section 2: Revision

This student conduct system shall be reviewed periodically and at least every three years under the direction of the Office for Student Success. Allegheny Student Government and the Campus Life and Community Standards Committee will be consulted when the student conduct system is reviewed. Any material amendments to the disciplinary system (unless required by law) require a simple majority vote of the ASG Senate and the Allegheny faculty and the approval of the President.
